The Aleph

One way to think of our project is as the film descendant of Borges' The Aleph. Consider the voice of the story, the short fiction form, the modernist concerns, the perceptual-yet not psychological-elements. There's a clear line you can draw between Borges, films I've written about (Man with the X-Ray Eyes) and my own ideas for short films (the man with objective vision). Technology becomes a way of discussing ideas, characters become a way of turning idea into narrative. I found that quite a few Borges stories and poems were turned into films. There are a few not very good ones floating around the net. The rest are hard to find.
