Two films I saw on Netflix that looked like TV:
Queen of the Damned
Imposter
Unsurprisingly, both directors ended up working in television. It would be interesting to go back and analyze why these films looked as they did. One problem with Imposter: inability to handle the altered states of consciousness sequences well.
